I recently received an invitation to an upcoming event in Salt Lake City called Moms Who Make It. The entire day's focus is how to take your life to the next level and loading you with tools. The agenda promises something for everyone and is jam-packed with some great ideas and speakers.

What is your passion?
What is your dream?
What is your obstacle?
What's still on that list from your childhood, or college, or last year? What are those things you wanted to do for you, or the community, or the world? Make a commitment to yourself to steal a few moments to reconnect with your true self and remember a few things you've always wanted to accomplish and what is still standing in the way.
Maybe there are a few nuggets of wisdom at this upcoming event that will assist you in dusting off a dream and putting some rocketfuel in the tank.

Found it.
My true purpose in life is to learn, teach, inspire, love.
By writing. By writing what I feel, and sharing it with the world. By not being afraid to voice what is truly within me…the anger, the passion, the love, the compassion, the tolerance. The world is begging for leadership, passion, love, light and truth. I am that light and truth. Anyone can sugar-coat life….it takes courage to put voice to the things others are afraid to say.
It is my NEW commitment that I will blog every morning. About what, I have no idea, but it’s time to start being the leader other’s are looking for. The leader my mentors see, the leaders my peers recognize. The challenge is nearly terrifying, and I’ve clearly shied away from it for a very long time. Today I answered the question, “What is my TRUE purpose in life?” It took a lot of silly answers to get to this one, and yet it comes as no surprise, and I’ve known it all along.
It’s time to dig deep, to give the world what it is crying out for. If I have the ability to impact even one life, then I must.
